This is a great workbook for working through the basics of the Bible.

What does this event mean for home schoolers? I suspect it means a lot, but we may not see the results in our midst for a year or two. In a nutshell:
This surely opens the doors for full homeschool curricula to be defined and offered worldwide to any iPad user with minimal input required from the parent-teacher.
What do you think? Amazing? Exciting? Would you use a curriculum (e.g. SonLight or Apologia Science) if it was available on the iPad?

When our first child was ready for school, we put her into a public school. We had reasons. We wanted her to be in the world, learn how the world works and be prepared. We wanted our family to be “light” in the world (for want of a clearer way of putting it) by teaching our children about the Lord and living that testimony with them before others.
But things came unstuck for us as we asked the children what they learned about at school. The answers often concerned us. Some of what the school taught as fact was not fact – it was philosophical or just plain opinion, and whatever it was, it was not in accordance with how the Bible says we should be raising our children.

What was everyday life like at the turn of the 20th century?
Students will experience the clothing, homes, games, and chores common to the time.
Objects and replicas from the period will be used to make butter, pikelets, and to do the washing.
